Biography

Rui Manuel Braz has a PhD in Cultural Studies from the Portuguese Catholic University. He teaches the curricular units of Descriptive Statistics and Forecasting Methods BSc in Marketing Management at IPAM Lisboa, and the curricular unit of Analysis and Decision Support Systems of the MSc in Marketing Management at IPAM Porto. He is a researcher at the Center for Communication and Culture Studies (CECC). He has published several works under his own name or in co-authorship in the field of Social and Human Sciences, including ¿Portuguese Households¿ Savings in Times of Pandemic: A Way to Better Resist the Escalating Inflation?¿ (2023), ¿"The importance of English proficiency: The particular case of Ukraine"¿ (2023) and "Education and Training as Enhancers of Economic Growth and Competitiveness" (2023) . He is currently involved in several projects related to the production and analysis of statistical models for studies in the areas of Management, Economics and Consumer Behavior.
