PhD in History - Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2013). Master's in History (2008) - Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Baccalaureate in Theology - Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2005). Integrated researcher at the Centre for Religious History Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP-CEHR). From 2017 to 2023 was post-doctoral fellow of the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia: "As tonsuras de Leviatã: os funcionários ecclesiásticos e a administração do Estado liberal em Portugal (1862-1911)" [Leviathan's tonsures: ecclesiastical employees and the liberal State's administration in Portugal (1862-1911)] (SFRH/BPD/114747/2016).
