Biography

PhD (2010) and Master (2000) in European Studies in the Institute of European Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University and a degree in International Relations (1997) Lusíada University of Porto. Visiting Professor at the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University in European Studies related classes, and Coordinator of the Research Line in Maritime Affairs, since 2011. Has coordinated various advanced programs within the UCP Institute of European Studies, and since 2014 coordinates the Advanced Program in Sea Studies and, since 2015, the Post-graduation in Sea Sciences & Business Administration. Solid experience in project management in different economic activities and education programs at university level, and multidisciplinary teams in those three sets, working simultaneously with technical professionals, university professors and students, and volunteers with a wide range of education, age and interests. Specialist in planning and strategic assessment in different economic sectors, has coordinated and edited different publications, including peer-reviewed.
