Sandra Dzenis holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy from King’s College London and an MA in International Business Economics from the University of East Anglia. Her expertise lies in political economy, political theory, and Philosophy–Politics–Economics (PPE). Her research combines theoretical and empirical approaches to the study of institutions, ideology, and the foundations of liberal and democratic practices. She has taught political economy and political theory at King’s College London.

Her work includes peer-reviewed articles in Nations and Nationalism, the Journal of Political Ideologies and in Philosophia. She is the author of a Palgrave book applying public choice theory to free speech in academia, as well as a forthcoming co-authored book, Social Evolution in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, with Cambridge University Press. Her research has been supported by competitive fellowships, including the Adam Smith Fellowship and the Humane Studies Fellowship from George Mason University.
