Biography
Susana Costa e Silva is associate professor (with habilitation) at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (since 1997), where she is also a researcher and has been master programme director since 2007. Susana is visiting professor at the University of Saint Joseph, Macao/China. She holds a PhD in Marketing from the University College de Dublin, Ireland. Her research interests include international marketing, internationalisation process, retailing, digital consumer behaviour social and cause-related marketing. Her main contributions are published in Psychology & Marketing, International Marketing Review, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, and International Journal of Retailing and Distribution Management, among others. She is the national representative of Portugal at EMAC and was a member of the board and national representative of Portugal at EIBA. Susana has supervised over 175 theses, authored 11 books, contributed to 17 book chapters, and published over 100 scientific articles. Her teaching experience spans from China to Brazil, having taught at dozens of universities. She is also a marketing and market research consultant.
