Biography

Suzie Marra holds a Master's Degree in Religious Sciences with a dissertation on “Human Responsibility: Philosophy and Religion in Emmanuel Lévinas” from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP/ Brazil) – CAPES scholarship holder. She holds a PhD in Comparative Studies of Portuguese Language Literatures from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP / Brazil) – CNPq scholarship holder. She is an integrated researcher at the Center for Communication and Culture Studies at the Catholic University (Lisbon) and a founding member of the LCR Group – Literature, Cinema, Religion. She started a postdoctoral project at CECC-UCP and develops the project “O Fundamental in Fernando Namora” by the Literature and Literary Criticism Program of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP / Brazil). The main lines of research are: Portuguese Literature; Literary criticism; Comparative Studies in Literature, Arts, Culture and Religion.

 

Degrees in Social Communication in the areas of Advertising with specialization in Cultural Marketing - for culture projects in interrelation with social responsibility programs and sociocultural sustainability in the interface with public-private policies - and Journalism. Master in Religious Sciences with dissertation on “Ethics of Otherness and Human Responsibility in Emmanuel Lévinas” by the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP/ Brazil) - CAPES Scholarship. PhD in Comparative Studies of Portuguese Language Literatures by the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP/ Brazil) - CNPq Scholarship. Researcher member of the Center for Studies in Communication and Culture at the Catholic University of Lisbon (CECC-UCP) and the LCR Group - Literature, Cinema and Religion. She also develops a research project in Portuguese literature 'O fundamental in Fernando Namora' linked to the Literature and Literary Criticism Program of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP / Brazil).
