PhD in Portuguese Studies – Literature Studies from Nova University of Lisbon (2019), since 2019/2020 Teresa has been Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences. She holds a Master’s degree in Portuguese Studies – Portuguese Literature (Contemporary Period) (2009) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law (2003), all from the Nova University of Lisbon. She was a researcher at the Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition at Nova University of Lisbon (2014-2019), where she received a research scholarship from the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (2015-2018) and was a part of the editorial committee (2017-2019). She worked for the Camões Public Institute as a Portuguese lecturer in Chile and in Spain (2007-2012).She is currently a member of the Research Centre for Communication and Culture Studies – CECC, working in the Literature and the Global Contemporary research group. Her main research area is Portuguese contemporary poetry. She has published many articles on poetry and self-portrait.
