Biography
Teresa Pinheiro is a doctoral researcher in Culture Studies at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She holds a BA in Artistic Studies from Universidade de Lisboa (2015) and an MA in Culture Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2018). Her research is focused on curatorial projects and organizations in deconstructed formats (long-term, transdisciplinary, processual) and their relationship to decolonial thinking/praxis, practices of care, and collaborative processes as a way of recognizing, including, and listening to pluriversal knowledges, voices, and modes of existence. She has been combining her research with field work in the production and programming teams of cultural organizations based in Lisbon such as the artistic research center Hangar and the festival MIL Lisboa.
