Viviana Ribeiro has a Degree in Genetics and Biotechnology (concluded in 2009) and a Master degree in Clinical Laboratory Biology (concluded in 2011) at the University of Trás-os Montes e Alto Douro (Portugal). She concluded her PhD (PD/BD/113806/2015) at 3Bs Research Group (University of Minho, Portugal) with the highest mention of "Very Good", and with the impressive achievements of 1 patent registration, 7 research papers in high impact factor Journals in the field (i.e. Biomaterials, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, Acta Biomaterialia), and 3 book chapters (as first author).
