Biography

Associate Professor. Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Nursing, specializing in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing at the UCP School of Nursing (Lisbon). Integrated researcher and coordinator of the Hope2Care project at UCP's Interdisciplinary Health Research Center (CIIS). Nurse since 1995, having completed her specialization in Child and Paediatric Health Nursing in 2008. She has a Master's degree in Nursing from the Institute of Health Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University and a Master's degree in Health Communication from the Open University in the area of specialization: Nursing Intervention. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the Institute of Health Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University. Has carried out research, promoted training courses, and published articles on caring for children in the context of hospitalization and chronic illness, mutual aid, hope, and appreciative inquiry.
