The Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) is a research unit of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) integrated in the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP). Its main objective is to promote high-level research that contributes to the advancement and application of scientific knowledge on 4 domains of human development (HD): health & wellbeing, education & learning, work & leadership, justice & human rights. CEDH research embraces an ecological approach, considering life contexts in continuous involvement with communities; highlights diverse changes and transitions that shape life trajectories in contemporary societies; and adopts an interdisciplinary approach drawn upon the synergies between psychology and education to yield ground-breaking contributions to HD.
