Description
This preliminary study explores the effects of auditory deprivation during the early years of age on wh-questions considering: age of cochlear activation, early intervention on speech therapy and acquired language(s). Studies have reported syntactic deficits in cochlear implanted children as a result of linguistic input deprivation during their first year of life , specifically deficits in structures with syntactic movement, since they show difficulties in comprehension, production and repetition of object relatives and object which-questions.
