COST Action | Transforming audiences, transforming societies

Project Details

Description

The goal of this COST Action was to promote discussion about the benefits of the latest combinations between print and digital media. Focusing on the articulation between (i) the end users' know-how and (ii) the most recent technological achievements at the time, the Action explored business opportunities and value chains, changes in social interaction and in cultural products from print and electronic media, and differences in the understanding of contemporary media culture. Ultimately, the project served as a channel for communication between the media industry and the academia.

CECC mainly participated in the work pursued by the working group nr. 2: Audience interactivity and participation.
