CoVTec em Saliva - Diagnóstico da COVID 19 em saliva

Project Details

Description

An efficient diagnosis of COVID-19 should include non-invasive, inexpensive and self-applied strategies for collecting biological material. Saliva meets these requirements. CoVTec aims to develop protocols for saliva processing, detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and assessment of the host's immune response, adapted to this fluid. The CoVTec Project will allow the implementation of an R&DT platform to support the various SNS institutions in the Viseu region, focused on diagnostic strategies to respond to this and future pandemics.
