Description
The year 2018 marked the European Year of Cultural Heritage, under the slogan ‘Heritage: where the past meets the future.’ In this regard, the European Commission aims to reinforce the universal value of European cultural heritage among contemporary communities, in order to preserve it and pass it on to future generations.
Under this pretext, CEPCEP, in partnership with the Centre for Communication and Culture Studies at the Portuguese Catholic University, coordinated this project, which included the publication of a book on the subject and the organisation of a conference, held on 30 November 2018, dedicated to the theme of Cultural Heritage and Digital Transformation.
