Development of more sustainable solutions for textile staining

Project Details

Description

The main objectives of the EcoTex project are the development of polysaccharide-based textile dyes, which require reduced amounts of reagents for their application, and biological solutions of textile discoloration (in particular using microorganisms and/ or enzymes consortia) that allow the replacement of currently used physical and chemical processes, as well as the reduction of the volume of effluents produced.

These new products are intended for companies that are particularly concerned about issues related to the environmental impact of their products and processes, aware of the market needs for more sustainable solutions.
