Project Details
Description
The main objectives of the project were:
- to familiarise participants with EI issues;
- to prepare and conduct a training meeting that will enable participants to increase their EI, while acquiring skills that they can use in their work, but also in disseminating knowledge about EI to other adults;
- to increase knowledge about EI and its use in countries and areas that have not addressed this issue;
- to provide space for the creation of a brochure with activities aimed at developing EI - enriched with the cultural, social and historical context of the participating countries, thus allowing for a broader implementation of the programme that will not be culturally conditioned;
- training of participants and their certification in the field of EI;
- collection and publication of data in a cross-cultural study;
- definition of future intentions for the next project, but also for new research in this area.
The partnership included the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Trnava (Slovakia) (Coordinator), Fundacja Family Center (Poland), Consorzio Cooperative Sociali S.G.S (Italy) and Universidade Católica Portuguesa/CEPCEP.
The Portuguese team consisted of José Sousa Fialho, Maria Cândida Soares and Maria Ana Carneiro.
