Description

In a Covid-19 pandemic setting, which has had a relevant impact on the way each of us lives our lives, and the holding of World Youth Days in Portugal, in 2023, CEPCEP and the Episcopal Commission of Lisbon are developping a study with the aim of better understanding how the current generation of young people between 15 and 25 years old live their spiritual dimension, religion and faith, and face the future.
At a time in history when we are faced with the need to make decisions and change behaviors that will irreversibly define the future, whether in terms of climate change and sustainability, whether in economic and political models, or in the relationship we have with technology, we believe it is important to know and reflect on the life and perceptions of young people regarding these same themes. Knowing the vision that young people have of a future that is more theirs than that of older generations, can help us to respond to the great challenges we face in a concerted and intergenerational way.
The methodology used in this study is a questionnaire survey to a representative sample of the aforementioned age group.
