Neuromodulation of lymphatic function in gut's Peyer's Patches

Project Details

Description

EMPHATIC will explore the ability of Peyer’s patches specific lymphatic endothelial cells to perceive neuronal adrenergic and/or cholinergic cues and its impact in the intestinal immune cell trafficking. The completion of the current action will open the path to a new field of study on the integration the communication between neurons, endothelial cells and immune responses.
