Pathways to Competitive R&I Careers: Bridging Academic and Non-Academic Sectors for Enhanced Talent Mobility in Widening Countries

Let's Grow! is based on three pillars: training, mobilities and policy development, that work together under mutualistic principles. Training actions are based on a preliminary assessment of NA partners needs and those of their R&I talents, being built upon the ResearchComp framework to ensure a well-recognised set of competencies by both sectors. Mobilities are designed so R&I talents gain critical competencies while involved entities establish mutually beneficial knowledge and promote future collaborations, and concomitantly make intelligent use of specific training for talents under mobility. Evidence-based and needs-based policy is an essential basis to enable positive change, and lessons learned from both training and mobility activities will feed discussions so the ecosystem can co-create policy recommendations to enhance R&I talents career interoperability and employability.
