Description

This project aimed to prepare for a trip to India – to Goa, Damão and Diu – organised by the National Culture Centre, with the support of CEPCEP.

The culture in these lands is the result of a very rich dialogue between roots that are lost in time, the encounter with the Portuguese and the modern reality that projects itself into the future with an intensity worthy of special attention. The Indo-Portuguese identity and the dialogue between cultures are very evident.

In preparation for the trip, future travellers (and the general public) were invited to participate in a series of four scientific seminars on the following topics: Travel and Travellers, Portuguese Heritage, Economies in Conflict – David and Goliath?, Challenges for the Future and Cooperation.
