Description
This study was developed in two areas: Where people live and How people live.
The ‘Where people live’ aspect covered the topics “Genesis and development factors”, “Space, architecture and urban planning”, “Urban and architectural heritage”, “Environmental heritage”, “Readings and perspectives”, “The Future”, and “Lisbon, 7 recent interventions”.
The ‘How one lives’ aspect highlighted the themes “Population”, “Behaviours and activities”, “Livelihoods, trajectories and strategies”, “Deviance and marginalisation” and “Literature, art and events”.
It involved the collaboration of 77 researchers, coordinated by Artur Teodoro de Matos and Carlos Laranjo Medeiros. It gave rise to numbers 2 and 3 of the magazine “Povos e Culturas” (Peoples and Cultures), published by CEPCEP.
