Description

The main goal of the “UCP2 Mental Health” project is to develop an integrated, flexible and student-centred mental health promotion system, which will seek to integrate, systematize and consolidate a set of levels and types of intervention, activities and procedures, anchored in the Stepped Care Model. The project will implement activities to (a) increase mental health literacy and develop psychological first aid skills; (b) develop socio-emotional and academic skills; (c) develop alternative perceptions of academic stressors and enhance coping strategies; (d) promote a sense of belonging; (e) promote the integration of the skills developed in different contexts and monitor their development; (f) contribute to reducing students' stress, anxiety and depressive symptoms; (g) study the effectiveness of interventions, with a particular focus on identifying and disseminating effective practices for promoting mental health/well-being.
