Research output: Non-textual formVideo recording

Abstract

The short film intends to present five historical personalities from the Renaissance period who are invited to a dinner with the aim of reflecting on Europe today - the lack of hope when looking to the future, the need for a united and peaceful Europe, creative and inventive, conscious of their duties. It is impossible to separate History as a cultural process of the human being, in its individual and collective aspects. This short film aims to make European citizens aware of the need to reflect on their role in this new process.

Note: The European project RenEU: New Renaissance in Europe, coordinated by the Tuscany Region (Italy) in a strategic partnership with four other institutions: Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (Spain), Villa Decius Association (Poland), Setepés (Portugal) and Mision Val de Loire (France) - proposes revisiting and reinterpreting the Renaissance in the light of its European dimension.
