Abstract
Based on my latest sound and musical experiences, 8 Fugas (title of
work) is a physical and temporal moment of reunion and conclusion. Over the last few years
I've explored seemingly distant techniques and methodologies. Field recordings,
manipulation, synthesis (analogue and digital) and AI. Here, the new tools
appear as a gateway to exploring the aesthetics of error that
Kim Cascone told us about. A discourse that never really is, but is loaded with
meaning and narrative. In this residency it will serve to give a final coherence to all
these experiences and explore how this musical object can live in the
performative space.
