Abstract
The work consists of an anthology featuring twenty-six texts from various literary genres about Arouca (Portugal). The texts are grouped into three categories: literary fiction, travel narratives, and memoirs by local authors and other authors connected to Arouca. Each text is preceded by an illustration, a biographical note about the author, and a historical note explaining the text and its context. A general introduction precedes the texts, and a toponymic index concludes the book.
