Abstract
Within the context of fundamental theology, this brief reflection aims to place theology of faith in a more relational way rather than in a cognitive one. In short, this will probably make the traditional dualistic contraposition at the top of many theologies of faith no longer valid, in accordance to the biblical and theological understanding of God, humanity, world as well as the relationships between them. In the regard of faith, neither an exaggerated romanticism of religious feeling nor the rationalism which does not even acknowledges the possibility of mystery are in position of a fairly and proper discourse on faith. Faith is beyond and before reason and emotion, so its contraposition would be nothing more than a mere misunderstanding.
