Abstract
The present article attempts to give an overview on the history of environmental education in the recent past and at the present time, as well the contributions that people and governments have been giving on the path toward the preservation environment. We also seek to, in this article, carry out a prior assessment or a watchful eye on the history of environmental education and the efforts that the Angolan government and its citizens are seeking to do in preserving the environment, mainly as regards the actions linked to education and awareness on environmental issues.
