Abstract
The city is the place where the future of faith is being shaped today. It is where cultures, languages, and ways of life intersect, challenging the Church’s presence and action. The Church Returns to the City brings together contributions from various authors who reflect on this decisive encounter between the Gospel and urban experience. Bridging theology, pastoral practice, and the social sciences, the book seeks to understand how the Christian community can inhabit the urban space in a new, creative, and mission-faithful way. A plural and timely contribution to rethinking evangelization in cities and rediscovering God at the heart of modern life.
