Abstract
This article analyses the role played by the Muslim Brotherhood in the West, insofar as several political decision-makers understands that it should be the privileged partner to represent the various Islamic communities. Therefore, we will analyze, its origins and the threats it poses to liberal democracies, stating that the Muslim Brotherhood can be a partner for dialogue – but not a partner for cooperation.
