A paróquia: de não-lugar a lugar de fraternidade

Abstract

The concept of non-place, authored by Marc Augé, has emerged
as an effective conceptual framework for interpreting contemporary Western
societies. It represents the concrete and symbolic negation of space that affects
three vectors: identity, relationship, and history. The parish, also conditioned
by these dynamics, has sought to remain relevant in its relationship with space.
In this essay, we propose a new path to prevent the Christian community from
also becoming an existential and ecclesial non-place.
