Abstract

The social pedagogy reflects critically on the socio-educational praxis as intentional action that seeks to promote civic subjective and training of people and establish social ties. This article analyzes the relationship in terms of their socio gift . Initially, we attempt to conceptualize the notion of gift , explaining the structure of its free, freedom and profound ethical significance. Then it seeks to examine how the gift , being a privileged operator in the creation of social ties, establishes a social relationship. Finally, we think about the relationship of socio-educational as a practical gift relationship. Considering that the socio-educational relationship is an educational, solidarity and donation experience, we attempt to clarify the scope of this statement, explaining the close link between solidarity and gift, in the context of socio-educational relationship. The gift emerges, for all this, as a notion of relevance within the social pedagogy.
