Abstract

In this paper we are going to describe an educational experiment that was conducted during a school year with a Portuguese class from 2º ciclo do Ensino Básico. During this period of time the students explored their creative abilities producing narrative texts, poetry, and drama, among others, through Wiki technology. At the end of the experiment, the students filled out an opinion questionnaire intended to assess the experience lived through, in terms of textual production and learning impact through Wiki technology, mostly the development of specific skills. The results are very encouraging because they not only attest the development of specific
skills but demonstrate students’ compliance to the project and their will to continue as well.
