Abstract

Observing our time implies the recognition of a disturbing symp- tom: a society driven by techno-scientiﬁc utopianism, seeking to obliterate and forget the forms of vulnerability and ﬁnitude. Deal- ing with a condition that is denied and relegated to the margins calls us to open new dimensions of inclusiveness, if we recognize the demand to integrate the new and the diﬀerent. Art has always been able to make space for oﬀering new ways of seeing – from our common exposure to the fragility of being.
