Associação entre estados afetivos negativos e comportamentos sexuais de risco

The present work had as a goal to analyse, through the literature review, the association between negative affective states (e.g., depression, anxiety) and sexual risk behaviours. We found that some studies point to an association between mental health problems and/or negative affective states and sexual risk behaviours. The literature review shows that negative affective states such as depression, anxiety, and traumatic experiences are associated with sexual risk behaviours and there is a lack of attention from the scientific community.
