    Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse three case studies about contributions of the big data to entrepreneurship framed by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This is an exploratory study, and the main research question is “What are the contributions of Big Data to Entrepreneurship linked to SDG?" The research is based on a literature review on the concepts of big data, SDG, and entrepreneurship. It also explores the linkages between those concepts and analyses three case studies in light of the operationalization of the concepts. The main findings of the research show that big data is a concept that entrepreneurs are not exploring its full potentialities to fulfil the SDG, and helping them to improve with efficiency the decision making process, the definition of future strategies, and the future orientation regarding new products or new markets.
