Abstract
Considerando a relevância dos equipamentos e respostas sociais no âmbito da proteção social dos indivíduos e das famílias e a importância que desempenham na inclusão social, procurou-se nesta edição, subordinada ao tema do Ano Europeu do Envelhecimento Ativo e da Solidariedade entre Gerações, perceber as dinâmicas demográficas recentes no nosso país, assim como o papel que as respostas sociais da RSES podem desempenhar no apoio à inclusão das pessoas idosas.
Considering the relevance of equipment and social responses within the scope of social protection of individuals and families and the importance that play in social inclusion, it was sought in this edition, under the theme of the European Year of Active Aging and Solidarity among Generations, understand the demographic dynamics in our country, as well as the role that SSEN social responses can play a role in support for the inclusion of older people.
