The main objective of adult education for citizenship is to enable the acquisition of competences that enhance the responsible insertion through social and human development in projects, given that the logic of local development is structured around the intent of the guidelines of the formative action in promotion of community values. In this context, the project “Empowering to save” comes within the mission of the Catholic University, which is now expanding to students of senior University. We assume as objectives to characterize the actors with regard to gender, age; disclose the process of evaluating indicators and reinforce the importance of adult education in promoting values. Methodologically this is a study of a qualitative and quantitative approach, using content analysis and statistical processing of data, resulting from the application of questionnaires to students at a senior university in a Parish Council of Lisbon. The results point towards the actor’s will to act, driven and supported by in a rationality of taught procedures, instructed and trained in basic life support. The conclusions suggest the training of actors, in a perspective of citizenship and health announcing the identity (re)construction and the development of a civic consciousness.
