Abstract

In this paper we present a contrastive analysis from the point of view of oral perception in portuguese students of Spanish as a foreign language in a face-to-face and online context. We tried to isolate the particularity that may be present in both contexts in order to obtain uncontaminated results for reasons that are not purely implicated in each context. The test consists in the oral perception of nonexistent phonetic chains in Spanish and Portuguese in the face-to-face context (classroom), on one hand, and on the other hand through Moodle platform (online). Then, we analyse the data obtained and bring out the results in each case. The ultimate goal is to become aware of the productivity of the perception skills in different contexts in order to determine the best instructional design depending on the learning context.
