Data management plan: deliverable 8.3 for the EU-H2020 funded project "Realising Dynamic Value Chains for Underutilised Crops" (RADIANT), under grant agreement No. 101000622

Abstract

The RADIANT Data Management Plan (DMP) is a key element of good data management. The DMP describes the data management life cycle for the data to be collected, processed and/or generated and made available by this Horizon 2020 project. As part of making research data findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable (FAIR), the DMP will include information on the handling of research data during and after the end of the project; what data will be collected, processed and/or generated; which methodology & standards will be applied; whether data will be shared or made open access; and how data will be curated and preserved (including after the end of the project). This document follows the structure of the Horizon 2020 DMP template provided by the European Commission1. During project lifetime access to data will be restricted to all registered project partners (and agreed licensed partners) to help ensure full exploitation. The DMP is a ‘living document’ and is expected to evolve and gain more precision during the lifespan of the project.
