Abstract
The Intergenerational Education is becoming more and more relevant in a world increasingly aged and where people’s longevity reaches unprecedented ages. Different Experiences, a new Relationship was born and is scoped in our master degree work and is motivated by the need to articulate the social pedagogy and school pedagogy. School failure and dropout of a significant number of young people create the need to reflect upon the value of school and education for the near future to these youth. In methodological terms, the work focus on an array of qualitative data research. It also aims to promote sharing generational knowledge, to improve and reinforce interpersonal relationships and to promote educational success of young people at risk of school failure and/or dropout. The purpose is to strengthen cooperative learning, intergenerational solidarity and break down old myths about the elderly. From the discussion of the data the positive impact of the sociopedagogical intervention programs is highlisted as well as and the greater need to recognize the value and practice of intergenerational education and the link between social pedagogy and school pedagogy.
