This article identifies the main organizational and pedagogical changes in primary education from 1997 to 2018 and analyzes its consequences in the reconfiguration of the organization of the teaching process, teaching professionalism and pedagogical practices in primary education. It verifies the unifying tendency that generalizes the logic of the compartmentalization of education and interprets it as a progressive process of cultural colonization of childhood education.
