Abstract

It is our object of study in this article the satire of Camilo Castelo Branco on political oratory through his fictional work, analyzing: the narrative devices, the construction of the characters, the comic effects inrtended, the ideological values defended, the functions in the narrative structure, briefly, the rhetoric of the satire on the rhetoric, with particular emphasis on A Queda dum Anjo.
