Abstract
The question «Did you go to World Youth Day?» is used as a line of
reflection about the WYD in Rome in the year 2000 and about WYD in
general. Despite being a mega-concentration of people, WYD has sufficient
elements to provide a personalized experience of faith. Everything depends,
in the end, on the internal disposition of the participant. In WYD faith is
presented not only in its rational aspect, but also in a way that appeals to
affectivity, the imagination and the senses.
