Abstract

Poetry and music have alwaysbeen artistic expressions that intertwine since ancient times, using similar techniquesto be held formally. In contemporary times, the art of music has created aromantic theory of music, mirrors the evolution of the romantic movement in itsessential points, because t he words are insufficient, they could not tell theineffable, but only suggest it approximately. It is for instrumental music, musicwithout words, convey feelings, and moods. Understanding the links between poetryand music through the melopoéticos study identifies both the points ofconvergences and divergences between the two arts and, thus, the study toanalyze the intertwining of artistic aesthetics in musical poetry and poetic music.
