Abstract
The purpose of this work is to present an empirical example of new practices of the television fiction audience, identified through studies generated within the scope of the OBITEL project. We will discuss some results of exploratory research on the transmedia reception of the telenovela Passione, one of the largest audiences in Brazil in 2010, on Orkut, Facebook, and YouTube networks. The subject is justified by the scope of the transformations brought about by the so-called culture of convergence in the Brazilian scenario of production, circulation, and consumption of telenovelas
