Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyze and contextualise differential chromatic reintegration in easel painting during the 20th century in Portugal. It is a survey of the criteria based on chromatic reintegration activities carried out by Abel de Moura and Fernando Mardel on two wood panel paintings: the triptych "Piéta com dois Santos", belonging to the Portuguese Decorative Arts Museum, Fundação Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva (FRESS) and the triptych of the Church of "Encarnação", currently at the Sacred Art Museum in Funchal. Through geographic information systems the reintegration area is determined.
