Abstract
This study redefines the concept of war, its definition changing from a political one, concerning the relations between cities («Poleis), to an ethical-political one, concerning the personal action of each human being in relation to other human beings. War emerges as the act in which any given human being endeavours to annihilate the possibility of other human beings.
