Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered shifts in consumer behaviors and preferences related to organic food, dietary habits, vitamins, health supplements, probiotics, herbal products and nutraceuticals. This chapter provides insights into these changes, emphasizing the heightened focus on health and wellness. Increased demand for organic items, local foods and online grocery shopping has emerged. The pandemic also boosted interest in probiotics for immune health, herbal products for stress relief and nutraceuticals for preventive measures. While these trends reflect changing attitudes toward health, they should complement rather than replace established preventive measures. This chapter underscores the pandemic’s impact on overall well-being, stressing the need for continued collaboration and research for a healthier future.
