Abstract

The principle of human dignity is a mantle that permeates the entire legal system and has sufficient materiality to provide guidelines to the legislature and the judicial power. Indeed, although the dignity of the human person is not classified as a fundamental right stricto sensu, it turns out to be a principle of a multi-functional nature and that undertakes a considerable normative projection.
